Chocolate

What better topic than chocolate to make an awesome comeback!!! Choconet, this one goes to you...

The things I like in chocolate

Just chocolate

Nuts - Almonds and Cashews especially

A little more cocoa (not so much that it is bitter chocolate)

Cake/Pastry

Things I don't mind in chocolate

Peanuts (if it is Snicker bar)

Raisins

Wafer

Biscuit

Liqueur

Nougat

Things that should not be in chocolate

Caramel

Mint (makes it taste like chocolate-toothpaste combo)

Caramel crystals

One of those strawberry/orange pasty stuffing (*gak* That's worse than mint!)

Oh gosh...I like chocolate with anything but nuts so I am glad there are people like you who I can give the nutty pieces to. You can then give me all the minty ones :D

Is it common to bring a gift when visiting in India? Will chocolate melt in checked luggage? Can chocolate be used to buy friends?

I'm with you on a lot of this, though I do like the caramel in there! Raisins are always a mistake. I'd rather eat celery! You're making me hungry for a Lindt bar!

i love caramel in chocolate!
but i hate those orange/fruity things in chocolate

Trish - Oh, that's so cool. Pass 'em ones with nuts here and i shall give you the ones with mint! It's all give and take in the choc world...

Ryan - If you are talking about bringing me chocolate from there, all i can say is, BRING IT ON! It does melt a bit. But you can put it in the fridge and it is back to normal.

Sandy - Raisins... I'm a bit skeptical about them in choc too. I am sort of inbetween about that. Perhaps, raisins should be accompanied by nuts if i were to like them in choclate. Go grab that bar, i say!

Archana - Pass 'em on here, girl...

Gitu - Umm... Caramel is another iffy thing for me in choc. It really depends. But i guess if find them adultrating the taste of chocolate. I don't know about bitter chocolate, but i do love dark chocolate.

I like it with as many nuts (of any kind) as possible so I'm glad there are people who don't like nuts in chocolate! More for me. Caramel, I don't mind at all - some brands do it beautifully. I hate it when they blend certain fruits with chocolate like oranges. But otherwise, if you've tried chocolate fondue, you'd like fruits and chocolate. Especially apple, pears, strawberries and bananas. It's to die for.
So you don't like "after eights"? It's actually good mint chocolate.

I love caramel in chocolate the best - so sorry, but I love your other choices.

Anju - I'm not giving you my choc with nuts! Caramel - it's a bit dodgy. Like you said, it depends on who does it. Again, i don't miss it if it's not there in choc. After eight - i have tasted it. It is the more bearable mint and choc. But i'd be glad to pass it on to you. Orange/Other dry fruits in choc - a big NO. Kills the taste of choc. But choc fondue does sound interesting. And i trust your taste.

Nadine - I will pass on my choc and caramel to you. :)

caramal is not good sometimes...like in 5 star or mars...but snickers has caramel, its nice!
and bungi,i was just wondering what to do with this huge bar of hazelnut chocolate someone just gave us...well i stopped wondering now.

CW - Umm... You have a weird nose...

Gitu - Yeah. I guess with caramel it depends on how they use it. Snickers is amazing simply because they have made something nice out of such unlikable ingredients. I like peanuts-choc combo only in Snickers. That goes for caramel too. I'd rather stay away from caramel otherwise. And about that slab of choc, BRING IT ON, I SAY!! Try and get it past your sister...

*yay* You're back!! And shame on me I didn't visit your blog earlier - I'm a bad, bad blogger! Ooooouuh, and a whole post dedicated to me. That's so sweet (like chocolate) of you! Thank you very, very much, I appreciate it. As far as I am concerned, chocolate shouldn't go with alcohol, don't like it.

Ryan - Ummm... Blueberries and choc. I never thought of that before. I wouldn't mind trying it, you know...

Anju - Looks like Gitu will eat it before you even see it. And i don't like five stars either.

Ryan - And so am i, and so is Gitu... But Anju is not...

Mahathma - I'm not even going to try to respond...

Choconet - Yep! Me back... It is good to be back, i say! And i was wondering when you were going to comment!

Gitu - STOP doing this to me! You may want to avenge your sister. But why me?!

Me - Great minds, i tell you...
