Learning to be patient with the 'now'
Learning to be patient with me
Not running ahead
Not lagging behind
But staying still
Not restless
Not impatient
But quietly waiting
Not moving
Not struggling
But gently trusting
Not looking around
Not searching inside
But beholding Him
Who was and is and is to come...

I sure do like that, Bungi. The wisdom in it is eternal and universal. Beautiful.
Lifelong learning, consciously or automatically, is a wonderful thing. And as I work in the field of education, I'm lucky seeing it every day.
Very nice, Bungi. Simple and profound.
Reminds me of one of my favorite verses--
"Be still and know that I am God."
Very Nice!!! Say which church do you belong to?
And I simply love that verse given by Julie.

Ok, so how do I do that when I am spinning like a top?
Sandy - Thanks, Sandy. :-)
Choco - True. We aren't truly alive until the learning is constant.
Julie - :-) Thanks, Julie. That is one of my favorite verses too!
Jollyroger - I go to the same church as Anju (Lost in wonder blog). Looks like there are a lot of us that love that verse.
Nancy - I'm reading somewhere that to be in the place of solitude doesn't necessarily mean that we have to be in a physically in a quiet place. I hear it is a heart place. Guess that is where God is drawing us to.
Mahathma - Will do, sir.

Bungi,
Thanks for stopping by today. Your comments always enrich the thoughts I begin on my blog.
I have read and reread this poem, and I like it very much. It's new for me with each reading.
