Fearful hope

Your heart skips a beat. You wonder at the possibility. You begin to dream. You begin to soar. Just as soon as you started to soar, you feel the tug. Fear checks in. You assess the reality around you. And then take stock of the impossibility. You dig your heel harder into the firm ground of reality.

It is better to be pleasantly surprised than to be disappointed.

I guess you tend to feel like that even when you fall in love. Did you?

So very true. I find it exhausting at times to start anew in this way and prefer to believe in impossibility as a way out of the demands. Not a good thing!

Bungi, I just want you to know that I love your posts. You have a gift of being able to pick up your thoughts and weave them into exquisite sentences. Awesome!

YOu need to choose which reality you are going by, yours or Gods.

Fear can keep us shackled. It can keep us from flying. So can the possibility of disappointment.

I guess a lot depends on which reality we are trusting in...

Lone Wolf - I know! I've become so irregular!! I'm sorry. I was caught up in the real life and in Facebook. Hence...

JR - Hmmm... I don't think i've really fallen. I love my sanity.

Sandy - Agree! It is not the way to be, but we do end up being so cautious... It does tire one out.

Oxymoron - Thank you! Guess this is what keeps me coming back to my blog!!

Nancy and Madison - 'Depends on which reality' sounds like an oxymoron, doesn't it? But i do get what you're saying. *grin*
