Eleven things #2

I have been doing way too many serious post. And it has been amazing to see cheeky replies even to those! I thought it is time for something light. I am not too much of a funny writer, if you haven't already noticed it. Anyways, I will attempt something simply to break the monotony.

Hmm… Probably doing a list will help. Another eleven things now post perhaps. So here goes…

Now

1. I am waiting for the clock to strike 7.30 am. This means that I can leave to the airport to pick up my friend.

2. Trying to think up of another 9 points.

3. On leave from work so that I can spend time with my friend!

4. Am happy because a colleague from down under has given birth to a baby girl and both mom and baby are doing fine!

5. I would like to finish reading a book that I started long, long ago… It is a great book. I simply lost momentum as I started reading something else before I finished that.

6. I am currently in the middle of three books that need finishing. The one mentioned above is one of them.

7. I am addicted to blogging and blog hopping. In other words, to blogosphere.

8. I am happy with the way my house is beginning to look with the new furniture in place and stuff.

9. Wondering what might happen at the airport. In the sense, how am I going to react…

10. I haven't gone swimming because I am too excited.

11. I have a half-full laundry basket...

It is indeed a thrilling experience when we meet old friends. I met this school friend of mine after 12 years thru orkut, and it was such a great feeling yapping about the golden days. Have fun with your friend and come back soon to the blogoSPHERE

Some see a half full laundry basket. Some, like me, see it half empty.

u did not go swimming because ur too excited! whats the connection! do u fear drowning because of xcitment! or do u think u will drink up all the water in the swimming pool! sperm whales do that! but u wont if u know all the stuff people do in the pool!

and why is everyone talking abt the first point! didnt they read beyond it ! and did they find the remaining points too intellectual to comprehend! like ... "I am currently in the middle of three books that need finishing " :p

CW - It is indeed a great thing to meet old friends! Will be back soon. :)

Me - Thanks Me! He he. Fellow blog addict, huh? "Hi. I am bungi. A blog addict."

Nadine - Thanks Nadine. Yep. Hope to finish the books soon...

Robin - The indeed are! In fact more than golden... :)

Choconet - Thank you! And what is Apropos 10? Nope. Did not see the news till you pointed it out! Amazing!

Jude - Wow, man! You are smart!!

Mahathma - What do you mean people have spoken only about the first point? Read the comments again... And make sure you read them properly. And what is it to you what they comment on? Their comments. Their wish. Only fair, right?

And you can continue to theorize whatever you wish to about swimming and excitement...

Go swimming! And douse the cheeky people if they are anywhere near you!

Bungi said...

Sandhya - Thank you... Will get back as soon as i can! And meanwhile, you keep writing, so that i have lots to read when i get back.

Mahathma - You try too hard to be smart... Doesn't impress me much...

Scribbler - Tell me about it! I am still having a great time!

Anju - He he. Dunno. Went on this blogging spree! And this is what i have ended up with! Hm... Good to have the freedom but do keep posting like you are doing. We love you here in the blog world. Nope. We are not going anywhere. She has mainly come to get some documents done and meet family and some old friends and in a very little time. Back to work on Monday.

so how did meeting your friend go? I'm expecting tales of a tearful reunion and much hugging at the airport.

cloverr said...

so how was the reaction at the airport?

Praney said...

All I wanna say is that I think very few people are lucky enough to have in touch with their old buddies and you are one of them.

I wish I had my name on that list too :(

Trish said...

It's great when friends come to visit isn't it? You must be having a good time since you haven't posted in well near a week :)

brandy said...

Have an excellent visit, and I think I may have to check that book out!

Bungi said...

Mahathma - Yeah right!

Jude - He he... Happy reunion is more like it...

Gitu - Umm... I don't know how to put it in words. Well, it felt like the most natural thing in the world, yet not so...

Praney - You never know when good friends happen. It is not too late, you know...

Trish - Oh yes! Still having a good time. Refusing to think about the day she will have to leave again... :(

Brandy - Thank you. And yes. The book is good. I am almost finishing it...
